vpr Matrix Porsche Design Sweepstakes

  1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE WILL NOT ENHANCE CHANCES OF WINNING. Open and offered only to legal residents of the United States, 16 years of age and older. Employees and directors of vpr Matrix, Inc. (“Sponsor”), its parent, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, Porsche Design Gesellschaft m.b.H., its subsidiaries and affiliated companies (“Promotional Participant”), and Sponsor and Promotional Participant’s advertising, promotion, or production agencies, web masters and web suppliers (and their respective IRS dependents, immediate family members and individuals residing in their same household) are not eligible to participate. Void in Rhode Island and where prohibited. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules.

  2. To Enter: Visit our web site at www.vprMatrix.com and follow the directions for completing and submitting the official web page entry form. The Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. Central Time (CT) on November 15th 2002 and ends at 11:59 p.m. CT on January 15th 2003 (“Sweepstakes Period”). The Sponsor’s computer will be the official time clock for the Sweepstakes. Any attempt at email or other Internet entry is void. Limit one (1) entry per person per day. Participants or individuals with multiple identities may not enter with multiple email addresses, nor may participants use any other means to enter multiple times, and any entrant who does so, or otherwise attempts to enter multiple times will be disqualified. Neither Sponsor nor its agencies, nor the Promotional Participant nor its agencies are responsible for illegible, lost, late, damaged, incomplete, or misdirected, stolen e-mails or entries; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, satellite, Internet Service Provider (ISP), web site, or other connections, availability or accessibility; or miscommunications, failed computer, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure; or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions, computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties; or any other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic or network or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry or other information or the failure to capture any such information. Limit one prize per household.

  3. Drawing: A random drawing will be conducted on or about January 17th 2003 from among all eligible entries received by an independent judging agency, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Winning Daily entries will be placed in to the Grand Prize drawing. Limit one (1) prize per person. Should a prize be won by a minor in his/her jurisdiction of primary residence, all affidavits, releases and undertakings, set forth in these Official Rules must be executed and undertaken by the parent/legal guardian of the minor, both on behalf of themselves and the minor. Prize may be awarded in the name of, or to, minor winner’s parent/legal guardian. Winners will be notified by email, phone, or postal mail on or about January 22nd 2003.

  4. Prizes: One (1) Grand Prize: One Porsche Design Computer Case, Approximate Retail Value (ARV) $500.00. Thirty (30) First Prizes: One Porsche Design Golf Hat, ARV $30.00 each. Total value of all prizes is $1,400.00. Odds of winning a prize in any drawing depend on the number of eligible entries received for that drawing.

  5. Conditions Of Participation: Participants agree (a) that vpr Matrix, Inc., Porsche Design Gesellschaft m.b.H., their parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by winners against any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in this Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes related activity and (b) except where legally prohibited, winners grant (and agree to confirm that grant in writing) permission vpr Matrix, Inc. and those acting under its authority to use his/her name, photograph, voice and/or likeness, for advertising, trade and/or publicity purposes without additional compensation in all media now known or hereafter discovered, world wide and on the Internet, without notice, review or approval. By participating in this Sweepstakes, you understand that vpr Matrix may use the information you provide for the purpose of administering the sweepstakes, and may share this information with its parent company, Best Buy Co., Inc. Prize winners will be required to complete, sign, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and, where lawful, a Publicity Release within ten (10) days of notification. If documents are not returned on a timely basis, or if any prize notification or prize is returned as non-deliverable, or if winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, such prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Taxes are solely the responsibility of the winner’s.

  6. Limitations of Liability: Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the sweepstakes or website, as solely determined by the Sponsor, will be disqualified, and Sponsor reserves the right to terminate such entrant’s eligibility. Should any portion of the sweepstakes be, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend or terminate the sweepstakes, and select winners from Internet and I-Station entries received prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the sweepstakes, and assumes no responsibility for any error, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation, or transmission, communications line failure, technical failure, theft or destruction, or unauthorized use to this Web site or I-Station. In the event of a dispute regarding prize claims or entries received from multiple users having the same e-mail account, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account at the time of entry used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant and must comply with these rules. Authorized account subscriber is the natural person who is assigned the e-mail address by the Internet Service Provider (ISP), on-line service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses. Any use of micro, automatic, programmed, robotic, or like entry methods will void all such entries by such methods, and entrants using such methods will be disqualified.

  7. Winners List: For the names of winners, mail your name and complete address on a 3” x 5” card in a first class-stamped envelope to: vpr Matrix / Porsche Design Sweepstakes Winners List, vpr Matrix, Inc., 7075 Flying Cloud Drive, Eden Prairie, MN 55344. Requests must be received by January 23rd 2003.
