All vpr Matrix PCs are indeed expandable up to four hard drives. Some models are already enabled for RAID: they contain multiple hard drives.
Mirroring allows for an instant back-up of your primary hard drive on the secondary hard drive so that if either hard drive fails, all of the data is kept intact.
